The Saltfire ST-X4 is a new addition to their range of ultra-clean-burning stoves. It’s the smallest of the new ST-X models, rated at 4.1kW output with an approximate 80% efficiency. Constructed from a precision-welded thick steel body, it features a cast iron door and thermo-refractory fire brick inner linings. The ST-X4 is DEFRA-exempt, meaning it can legally be used anywhere in the UK, even in strict smoke control zones. With user-friendly controls and a large viewing window, this stove offers amazing views of the fire. The advanced “after-burner” system creates a unique flame pattern. It’s a multi-fuel stove, efficiently burning wood logs or smokeless coal. The coal ashes fall through the grate into an easily removable ash can. Finished in black high-temperature paint, the ST-X4 also boasts thermo-ceramic clear glass from the industry-leading “Schott” brand in Germany. An air-wash system helps keep the glass clear.
